Seannie34 Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Theres an article on espn.com about 10 players that may emerge in the playoffs and Kalinin is on there.... seems like the last sabre that i would expect to see on there. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2006...cott&id=2416174
Rock DJ Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'm counting on him this series. He's been troubled, but during these last couple months he's grown stronger, and is closer to what they expected out of him all year. Leads the team in +/-.. nice dark horse pick.
buftex Posted April 23, 2006 Report Posted April 23, 2006 I am looking for #12, Ales Kotalik to emerge again...not exactly a dark horse pick I know, but offensively, he has been pretty invisible the last quarter of the season. There were so many close calls, last night on slap shots (McKee scored on one), I expect Kotalik to be a factor again...guy has a nice powerful shot!
Rock DJ Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 Kotalik is having stick problems.... in his head. Until he gets over that, he has no confidence in his shots right now.
