I won’t be mad if the Sabres squad of 10 year olds and an AHL goalie lose every Bruins game, as long as they compete in every game.

That's actually my thought:  If he shows nothing against the Bs, does he fall out of favor?  It's been said "It's his job to lose".... would getting swept by the Bs means he loses it?

He's shown enough to deserve to seriously be in the conversation. What they do, I don't know, but if they "show nothing" against the Bs, it's just more reinforcement that a thorough search is necessary, regardless of who ends up with the gig.
