I'm about to take my lunchtime walk, so assume it happens in the next 30 minutes

Nevermind, this storm front is coming in hot. Lunch walk is on hold for at least an hour.

I'd LOVE Peyton Krebs.

He would've been my pick in 2019 over Cozens.

Vegas has:

Peyton Krebs, 5'11" 190lb C - 43 points in 24 WHL games and 5 points in 5 AHL games

Pavel Dorofeyev, 6'1" 178lb LW - 13 points in 24 AHL games

Brendan Brisson, 6' 185lb C - 21 points in 24 NCAA games

Zach Dean, 6' 176lb C - 20 points in 23 QMJHL games

Ivan Morozon, 6'1" 196lb C - 31 points in 55 KHL games

updated, now with Defenders!

Kaeden Korczak, 6'4" 192lb RHD - 8 points in 15 WHL games and 2 points in 11 AHL games

Daniil Chayka, 6'3" 185lb LHD - 4 points in 5 MHL games and 2 points in 11 KHL games

I believe it was @Thorny who said that the winning window is not Jack's it became Rasmus II's when they draft him.

Who ever said that, I agree with it and that is a prime motivation to trade Jack, as @LGR4GM stated up thread.

That was my thing. I never thought Dahlin's and Eichel's timelines matched up.

Hague and Korzak on the backend.

Vegas now heats up the market.  They are aggressive and now other teams like Minny have pressure to nut up with their best offer or else.

Vegas the best with shows.

With Vegas clearing capspace...

They have Pavel Dorofeyev and Peyton Krebs in their system. Dorofeyev is adjusting to NA still but is a Russian Winger.

Tuch, Krebs, Nolan Patrick and next year's first is four 1st rounders.

Two centres incoming for Buffalo, it's Eichel for Tuch on the Knights current roster....? 🤷‍♂️

Krebs+Tuch+1st is a great start to something.

Perhaps even more-so than Boldy+Rossi+1st.

edit FORGOT about Patrick too.

I would take a prospect over next years first because I think for them, they are going to be in that 24-32 range.

Korczak at RD would bring some edge.  Chayka just got drafted and could be available

Is Krebs really that good tho?  Was never a fan of his as a prospect.   Would rather have Boldy.

We are short 1 Kootenay Ice player right now in Buffalo so might as well fix that issue.

Is it expected he ends up at C in the NHL?

I'd like to see Jack in Vegas honestly, assuming the return is right

I think his vision would keep him at center. Then again, who knows in todays NHL but Krebs with Cozens would be a lot of fun because Cozens has some more jam and krebs I think has a little more finesses. IN all honesty though, I haven't paid much attention to Krebs since that draft.
