Watch Boston someone come in and snag Eichel for nothing. They took 4 other former Sabres so why not Eichel especially since he’s from Massachusetts.

He's from Boston. Where else would he skate with nhl guys?

The optics are absolutely brutal here, though. Also, for the record, the locals who say they are familiar with Jack’s summer routine say this was unusual as he normally skated at a facility outside of Boston.

Maybe, but he usually does skates with those guys, just missing the hayes brothers it seems.

Would be nice to hear that the captain of the team in Buffalo would stay in the area and hold skates with his own teammates in Buffalo instead of joining players from a team he would rather be on.

Can Vegas even make cap room for Eichel?  They would need to dump both Smith and Dadonov, no?

It was suggested Dadanov would replace Tuch who would then be included in a package with Smith

We keep Eichel he gets the surgery misses all of 2021.  Ultimate Stealth tank league knows its so bad we'll need Wright to save this franchise.

Core for 2022-23:

Eichel

Wright

Casey

Cozens

Quinn

Olof

Artuu

Skinner

Dahlin

Power

Joki

Johnson

Bryson

UPL

Playoffs in 2022.  Ultimate fast track plan.

I'm bored.

I think some teams that missed out will be looking at Eichel looking to make a splash.

Rangers been pretty quiet to be honest, but I'm not really interested in sending him there anymore.

Still hoping for Anaheim or Vegas.

Yeah, but it still would be nice for the team Captain of the sabres to do this rather then with another team....

Issue is that these things get publicity in areas were lots of players live in the offseason, like Boston or Toronto area.  How many players live in Buffalo during the offseason?

The captain of our team skating with arguably our biggest rival (many will argue even more than Toronto) is not a good look. Some fans don’t mind, but many of us do. And we’re not gonna be quiet about it.

I understand that not every player lives in the city year round, but it doesn't seem to be an issue for the bruins to have a chunk of their team together in Boston to do this

It would just be nice to have a Captain of this team holding scrimages and practices with teammates of his team here in Buffalo, even if it involves him coning back into town for a few weeks during the summer, or flying some of his teammates out to where he is to do this. Instead, our captain is off skating with a group of players from another team thats able to get together during the summer months.

Casey Mittelstadt is skating in Minnesota with players from the Wild, you mad at him too?
