GASabresIUFAN Posted March 27, 2021 Report Posted March 27, 2021 Since the 1st rd is kind of a few rounds onto itself I'll subdivide it into TOP 5, Top 15, Rest of the 1st, then by round. A. Top 5 Pick - B. Top 15 pick - C. 1st rd 16 to 31 - D. 2nd rd - E. 3rd rd - F. 4th rd - G 5th rd - H. 6th rd - I. 7th rd - J. 8th rd. - K. 9th or later rounds - Nominations? Quote

PerreaultForever Posted March 27, 2021 Report Posted March 27, 2021 dis is too hard for me to remember and too involved to research 🙂 Perreault is obviously the top pick. 2nd round maybe Craig Ramsey and then 3rd round Bill Hajt I mean 1971 dat's how you build a team 1 (Martin), 2, 3 all hits with long term Sabres. Brian Campbell 6th round. Christian Ruuttu 7th round, dat was a good one. Krupp round 11 crazy good pick. Quote

Jay McKee is a close second - What about Mike Ramsey or Calle Johansson? McKee is behind both of these guy IMHO C. Andreychuck. Craig Ramsay is second D. Gare -Pominville? Hogue? Roy? Pommers gets my vote, but it's close. Gare is a Sabres Hofer. E. Bill Hajt - Hajt is my choice as well, but Sheppard and Sekera are pretty close. F. Matthew Barnaby. Foligno and Puppa are next - I think Keith Carney's 1000 NHL games is pretty note worthy for a 4th rd pick G. Alex Mogilny although dis would be a 3rd round pick in the modern NHL. Ryan Miller - As much as I like Alex, Miller meant more to the franchise H. Peter McNab. Brian Campbell is next - Soupy wins from a Sabres point of view. He also played more NHL games then McNabb I. Paul Gaustad, Victor Olofsson is next - As much as I like Goose, Ruuttu was the better player. J. Derek Plante - What about Randy Cunneyworth's 866 NHL games vs Plante's 450? K. Donald Audette - round 9 Uwe Krupp - Round 10 1 Quote

Andrew Amerk Posted March 27, 2021 Report Posted March 27, 2021 A. Top 5 Pick - Shawn Anderson B. Top 15 pick - Marek Zagrapan or Artem Kryukov C. 1st rd 16 to 31 - Dennis Persson D. 2nd rd - Mike Funk E. 3rd rd - Eric Naud F. 4th rd - Karel Mosovsky G 5th rd - Denis Denisov or Tom Morrow H. 6th rd - Paul Byron I. 7th rd - Matt Generous J. 8th rd. - Orwar Stambert or Brad Self K. 9th or later rounds - Taro Tsujimoto 2 Quote

Rick Martin was the fifth pick and a great pick at that. So was Tom Barrasso, should have never been traded. On 3/27/2021 at 6:28 PM, Andrew Amerk said: A. Top 5 Pick - Shawn Anderson B.
