I am actually somewhat excited to watch hockey tonight. I expect them to play a faster paced brand of hockey. I just want to be able to say, "Well that looks a little different."

Same here, I'm looking for some kind of spark to light the fire.

So who will it be...

You need a street ball / tennis ball, a soccer net, and the guy still misses.

Wow. Some f you have a lot of faith in an interim coach creating magic. We shall see I guess.

Rangers are playing good hockey as of late; they have some momentum going right now.

I think it will be more of the same from the Sabres, but we'll find out soon enough.

No Eakin and Okposo is a huge boost.

I hope Okposo gets diagnosed with a case of Ride-the-pine itis. A very serious case that keeps him out for the rest of his contract and somehow relieves us of his cap hit

Okposo not on the trip.

The injury...hurt feelings when they benched him for tonight?

Did KO storm out and refuse to travel with the team, thus creating a stand off that will result in his eventual release?

And...back to reality. Get well soon KO.

And yet he probably has more experience than our last coach.

Okposo being benched (regardless if its for injury) is the best Sabres news ive heard all day. I do hope he's alright & back to 100%, but i'd like to see someone else in that spot. Asplund > Okposo always at this point.

Looking to see if theres any signs of life out there tonight

GO SABRES!

Watching Granato's pregame, I love his communication style 123% more than RFK's.  Also, he seems to actually like the players on the team.

Posted in a different thread but seems relevant given some earlier posts.

Yes, he just said that in the video I'm watching.  Love it.

After all that hot air, Granato's a breath of fresh air.

It has given me some hope for sure.
