I think Rasmus Dahlin's short area burst is an issue that can be addressed by a competent coaching staff and skating coach. He has the agility to generating the power doesn't concern me as much. His passing, using his edges to create space, his creativity, and his stick skills are all scalable skills. I think we need to give Rasmus Will Borgen when he returns and allow them to play off each other. I also think Rasmus needs to examine his workout routine to focus on quick bursts versus just pure strength.

The Podcast from opening 20 minutes was interesting, including the portion where there maybe a written agreement between the Pegulas and McBeane on how much influence they are allowed to have in the decision making processes regarding the Bills and that no such agreement exists with the Sabres. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/31-thoughts-the-podcast/id1332150124#episodeGuid=https%3A%2F%2Fpodcast.sportsnet.ca%2F%3Fp%3D27162

I haven't listened to the podcast, as I find Friedman too long-winded, but was it "there may be a written agreement?"  or "I've heard that there is a written agreement?"

A lot of things "may" exist.

I mean, I know it’s been said before, but Brawndo is incredibly fast.  That podcast dropped less than 2.5 hrs ago, and it’s 1.5 hrs long.  Come on man, give us a chance.

@Brawndo

I thought for sure I had him beat on Trubisky.

I was over here posting before there were any replies on TBD.

When I went to click send, I checked to see if there were any "1 new post in thread" popups that always hit when you're on a page while someone new replies.

Nothing. Nothing was there. Glory was mine.

I clicked "post" and Brawndo's post announcing the signing popped into place, nice and neatly, right above mine.

Time travel is the only explanation.

My thought watching the Lehrer interview today is where would the Sabres be if things worked out for him here ?  maybe he had to leave to work things out for himself?
such a shame, Sabres could use his fire / intensity as well
