Stoner Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 They always show the goalie after he gives up a goal. I'd like to see him after his team scores. 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 18, 2021 Author Report Posted March 18, 2021 I missed the first few minutes of the game and just had a chance to watch the Bruins goal. All I can say is, if a goalie is going to pass/shoot the puck, under NO circumstances should he give it away like Hutton did just prior to the goal. That just drives me nuckin futs. 1 Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 Okposo misses the net by 3 feet that time Quote

They were mostly goons, but their talented players had skill and heart, and they had the luxury of playing fearless. People forget that their goons were tireless checkers who played a very simple game aside from the hook-and-hold to compensate for their lack of skill. They were a goonier version of the 1996-2001 Sabres except that they had a top line of HoFers and a good 2nd line. 1 Quote

Pimlach Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 Okposo shot from the slot missed the net by a mile. Really, I’m 62 and I could have put that on net. This team can’t pass or shoot. Fundamentals are lacking. Quote
Norcal Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 Look, I'm not saying Thompson is a star but...the kid is playing better. He is doing things differently than he ever has. If he keeps doing more things he will be ok. 2 Quote

Pimlach Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 The Bruins have always drafted and developed big power forwards. It’s part of their culture and image. I like that. My love of the NHL goes back to Bobby Orr coming into the league and freaking everyone out with speed and skill. Best defenseman ever => Bobby Orr. Quote
Claude Balls Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 I don't think Scotty Bowman could win with most of these guys. Aside from Jack, Taylor and Skinner there is no offensive talent whatsoever. And Krueger seems to have castrated those three as well. Quote

Claude Balls Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 Was Kruger using a soccer goal during his practices? These guys can't hit a hockey net for *****. 1 Quote
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted March 18, 2021 Report Posted March 18, 2021 Outshot 13-4, losing 1-0. 1 Quote

They were beasts. Quote
