Steve Levy and Sean McDonagh, already under contract with the ESPN, are two people under consideration. Kevin Weekes, PK Subban, Ray Ferraro and Brian Boucher have all been signed as analysts. 1 Quote

You wouldn't even know they are covering hockey again. I thought there would be an NHL daily type of show since training camps open in a few weeks. Quote

Expand The season is over a month away and the NHL doesn’t carry the fandom the NFL and NBA have so they’re not going to spend much time in the offseason giving them shows or coverage when nothing at all is happening. Expand The NHL is an established brand, they’re not going to conjure up a whole new audience just because they had a show for a few weeks. The network shunned hockey completely when they didn't get the last broadcast contract. They do have alot of work to do, that's why they should already have some content for anyone curious as to how they are going to handle it. Quote

Disney acquired 21st Century Fox which included something like two dozen regional Fox Sports networks which put those networks streaming on their ESPN+ platform with Fox Sports graphics packages. Courts forced Disney to sell the regional networks so they were sold to Sinclair who then sold the branding rights to Bally. 4 1 Quote
