Bryson tallied 11 goals and 62 assists in three seasons at Providence. During his sophomore season, he was named an American Hockey Coaches AssociationSecond-Team All-American.[2][3]

Bryson also won the Len Ceglarski Award in both 2018 and 2019. It is given by the Hockey East conference to the player who most consistently demonstrated superior conduct and sportsmanship on the ice.[4]

ProfessionalEdit

Bryson was drafted in the fourth round, 99th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

After his junior season at Providence, Bryson signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Sabres.[5][6] He joined the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the 2019–20 season.[7]

After he started the 2020–21 season with the Americans, Bryson was recalled by the Sabres on February 13, 2021.[8] He made his NHL debut with the Sabres in a game against the New Jersey Devils on February 22, 2021.[9]

Bryson scored his first NHL goal on March 6, 2021, against New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov.[10]

Personal lifeEdit

While Bryson played for the Omaha Lancers, he attended Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School in Bellevue, Nebraska.[11]

My kids go to that H.S....guess I know what jersey to get.

As someone who watches or attends most Amerks games, Bryson was developing nicely. 

I will say I didn’t expect him to be as good with the Sabres this soon as he has been so far. It’s a pleasant surprise. I only hope the Sabres can RK before he starts messing up Bryson like he has with everyone else.

#78 could reflect the "golden days" of his career, right?  Eichel is 15/9, right?  #78 wouldn't be bad.

I see 78 and I still think of Bruce Smith....I kind of like the idea of a Sabre with that number since there will never be another Buffalo Bill with that number.

not many shots on goal for the Sabres but many have been good ones.

IDK, the wishful thinking part of me is hoping they're playing with a little more inspiration FOR their injured captain...but who knows.
