PromoTheRobot Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Skinner would have scored if he were on the first line. 1 Quote

Zamboni Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Should someone start a “Jack Eichel countdown until NMC kicks in” thread. 😂 what is it roughly now? Like 13 months or so? does the NMC start April of 2022? 1 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Jeff Skinner must have done something really bad. God is most displeased with him for some reason Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Skinner would have scored if... Never mind. Quote

Living the dream each day, 27 about to turn 28, and he's just trying to make it. Thus he skates with passion, energy, and Eichel probably isn't the only top-line opposition that he drives bonkers simply with hustle and will. We don't have any of these players. We don't have a single player who is forcing his way onto the roster via effort and the coach can't keep him off of it. Blackwell thought for sure his 45 points in 61 Games for His AHL Team would be good enough for a late season call up with the Parent NHL Club. The GM associated with the parent club determined that the NHLTeam Lineup was too good for him to crack and he didn’t get a chance in the NHL until last year with Nashville. The NHL Lineup that was too good for Blackwell to make was Your 2017-18 Buffalo Sabres, the First Team in NHL History to finish in 31st Place. 2 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 (edited) We're skating faster tonight, a bit more desperation/effort than any of the games in the last 2 weeks. (To the untutored, visored eye.) Although the lower camera angle vs. Marine Midland makes it look faster. Still... they're more engaged. Shestyorkin with a great positioning. Skinner had nothing (Edit: on the first shot). The second... too far wide. Edited March 3, 2021 by DarthEbriate Quote

Schaller, Blackwell... there's a couple effort guys who have either carved out... How the hell did Hutton drop that? ... or could carve out 5-10 year NHL careers simply because they're savvy and put in the effort. Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 Okay that was Hutton. Even Krieder couldn't believe it went in. 3 Quote
Pimlach Posted March 3, 2021 Report Posted March 3, 2021 (edited) Even Kreiter was surprised at how easy that goal was. We are terrible. Edited March 3, 2021 by Pimlach Quote
