2021 Buffalo Bills

sorry if this has been mentioned already but...

I'm watching the SEC championship game...and right before half on the Alabama sidelines...there is someone holding a big sign...or a folding table...with a HUGE bills logo on it.

If you watch the Alabama sidelines from 2:00-half time, you will see it on almost ever play.  Anyone know anything about this?

Some teams call plays / direct formations with coded signs--colors, numbers, letters, logos, whatever, and Bama has the Bills logo mixed in there for whatever reason.  Given that it's the SEC, they probably wanted to stay away from the letters and numbers.

Bengals, down 24-0, drive for a beautiful throw-and-catch TD.  Line up to go for 2.  Don't like the look, so they take a timeout.  Line up again for 2, but confusion leads to a delay-of-game penalty (and an audible curse word.)  Move back and opt for the PAT attempt.  Shank it wide. 💩

Minnesota down big against Detroit at the 1/2, but it's Detroit, so there should've been no panic.  With 6+ minutes in the 3rd, they get a TD to make it 20-15.  Rather than simply kick the PAT, the Vikes go for it & fail.  This puts them in position in the final 2 minutes of needed to go for 2 to get to a 6 point lead.  They fail that as well.  So rather than having a 6 point lead had they kicked the 2 PAT'S, they have a 4 point lead with 1:50 left to play.  BTW, Detroit has a rookie kicker in his 1st game.

Of course Detroit goes down the field & scores on 4th down as time expires.  Had it been a 6 point lead prior to the 4th down then the kicker needs to actually perform to keep from going to OT yet again.

Friggin' Chargers of the NFC find another unlikely way to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

NEVER go for 2 before the 4th Q unless you're down by at least 24.  It nearly ALWAYS bites coaches in the bippy.

Down by seven, Ravens score a TD, but then go for two.  Try fails.  Steelers win by one.

Must've felt like our game against the Titans.

Bills need to win at least 2 of next 4. So tomorrow is kinda do or die. You lose tomorrow then you have TB and probbly lose. Pressure then on to win 4 in a row incl at NE.

Any last hope of home field rests on tonight.  If we lose we have to win 4 of the last 5 just to make it in... and with Tampa and NE again that is tough. If we win tonight, maybe that sparks us to catch some fire the last stretch.

Assuming you mean the last 2-3 seasons.  Prior to that it was massacre city for Bills fans on prime time.

Either the Bills play well and I drink to celebrate or they play poorly and I drink out of depression.  Common denominator is I'm ending up with a hangover either way.
