I mean maybe we should play the Devils every night and we would look like AllStars

It's a team we have to beat and be better than.

That said, if we had played with any of this intensity for any of the previous three games coming out of the COVID break, there wouldn't have been comments about psychology, and our 'Space board wouldn't have been as worried about trading and firing people. If they play like this and lose... yeah, pucks bounce and goalies steal games. But the energy, positioning, and puck-battles today have been wondrously better than their previous 4-5 games.

Eichel quietly to 12 helpers after 2 more today.

Goal scoring is lacking but one side of his scoring is as prolific as ever.

You know you have a true star when they are sitting at point-a-game production (14 in 14) and the consensus is, fairly, that he should be better.

Of course, he may lose one if Reinhart gets the credit back for that goal.

Hopefully it’ll be a confidence booster. We’re going on a tear from here

Play NJ three out of the next four.  Go on a win streak and put the Sabres in the middle of the pack.

Just the swap of Cozens for Thompson seems to make a huge difference for our team.

And Borgen with a simple stay at home style, maybe it will let Dahlin loose to make things happen.

It's a pairing that could be good for the next 10 years.

Well, it's obvious, Reinhart is a lurker of Sabrespace.

Once he read my post calling Olofsson better than him this season based on stats he said "the hell you say".

And give Joker a chance to reset. He's been so messy this year, whereas last year --  sure, still a kid -- but he rarely looked rattled. Hopefully, he can get himself chilled and be a Joker the Toker and come back to move Irwin back to 7. (Risto could be weeks away, after all. Heck -- hope he's okay long-term. He was becoming the next form of himself.)

They seem to have great chemistry.  I hope this is a trend.

Joker needs a Borgen type as his partner as well.  If they can find him the right partner, we may have three solid pairs.  When was the last time we could even think about that?
