We've played ok. It's becoming a bit of a broken record, but we are a routine save and an Olofsson slight snipe away from a tie game. Have to score to start the third (on the "fresh ice" - which never seems to help a PP, anyways, anecdotally.)

Dahlin didn’t do anything wrong on that goal against. Nitpicking to expect much more. Ullmark cheated and got beat 

 

Jokiharju is being left out to dry trying to make awful players like Irwin look passable.  That last goal was 100% Irwin ignoring his goalie directly. Jokiharju is only there because he’s noticing Irwin’s Mike Weber impression and tried to cover him up

#1, that diamond is in the wrong place, that shot came from much closer to the faceoff dot when it actually left Pageau's stick.  If wide open shots from the dot go in 2% of the time I'm a monkey's uncle.  That's a 2% shot because 98% of the time it's contested by someone.  You don't get to just skate to the dot and fire pucks at the goalie most of the time.

Well, that move was certainly a debacle, but Scandy was an upcoming UFA when they traded him, so they would've had to have given a new contract (which might've been the right decision).
