Can Sabres players as a collective hire a lawyer? Seems like that would violate something with the NHLPA, but genuinely asking if someone knows.

This ralph kruegar news is terrible. I really hope he is ok.

With them playing, i never worried much about the players because they are professional athletes. I worried about the coaches and training staff which might be a high risk

I assume everyone infected is perfectly fine or more or less dealing with a cold until otherwise informed. Yes, it is a deadly disease for some, but not most.

More specifically, most = ~98%.  Ralph seems like a healthy/active fella so even less likely than those in his age group.  Agree re Granato, and thinking more about it surprised he didn't opt-out of the season, but perhaps he's more of a yolo guy after his experience last year.

Not sure about NYS, but in Texas you need to be over 65 *or* have a complicating condition.  My wife (58) got her first shot Monday.  She has several interlaced autoimmune conditions so I worry about her.

I also worry about me.  I've lost 40 pounds during the pandemic so I'm no longer obese but I'm still overweight and have hypertension (which got me on the list).  I signed up the day after her but I haven't been notified to come in for a shot yet, hope to hear soon.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if RFK has no complicating factors.

it is so sad to hear stories like this...no one knows the long-term effects this will have on people yet there are many who chuck it off like it is a joke or over-rated. Best wishes to you and your family...

All this is true and very sad.

A friend who is a very fit 40 year old doctor in Serbia, who was treating COVID patients, came down with it.  He has basically recovered from COVID, but his case was so bad that he developed diabetes, which is most likely to be a life sentence for him.

I hope and pray that your recovery is full, my friend.

You must not read the scientific journals I guess.  There are serious long term consequences and the more time goes by the more they find.  If you choose to stay ignorant then that is your choice, but the statement you made is false by the myriad evidence showing issues even in a lot of people with no symptoms.  

Yep...assume its fine. Smart choice. Nothing to see here. SMFH.  The COVD related death toll in 5 years is going to be staggering.  Not sure how many "colds" have done that to people.
