Expand It's a Lindy Ruff team. Not the most talented, but the effort is always there. It's characteristic of dinosaur, re-tread coaches. The first thing they address is team effort. We thought Eichel and Hall would be some hockey unicorn. We thought Dahlin would have a breakout season. Those we expected to lead us into the playoffs are somewhat of a liability. Quote

Expand Sabres will be out of it if they don’t figure it out quickly. This team is good enough to make the playoffs if they had two Ullmark but carter and his sub .900 goaltending will cost this team a playoff spot.
