LabattBlue Posted January 27, 2021 Report Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) I’m glad they won, but it was so predictable that they would get badly outshot in the 3rd period. The mentality of protecting the one goal margin is what leads to games getting tied up, and then lost in OT/SO. Edited January 27, 2021 by LabattBlue Quote
Stoner Posted January 27, 2021 Report Posted January 27, 2021 I'm sure it was discussed live, but even though Rick didn't want to give him much credit for it at times, Ullmark was tremendous in the last 10 minutes (at least) — right down to the dying seconds on a shot that Rick said was "knocked down." It was, by LEEnoose's stick after he went to the butterfly. Quote

Maybe Jack is still a little injured and needs to get his legs but he doesn't look like the Eichel of yore quite yet. Totally. Hall has looked better than Eichel so far no question. His passing ability and awareness of where his team mates are is really good. Maybe Jack isn't 100%, maybe he's just starting to get there or waking up (as he looked better last night) or, and I don't really like this possibility, maybe he's not as good in the sniper role and needs to be the guy carrying the play and so those two should really be on different lines.
