We make backups look great.

He's not even the regular backup. It was sposed to be Lundqvist. I don't know where they found this guy. Either way, he looks better than both of the Sabres GTs

I can't stand RK's PP strategy with just one point position (26)!

They didn't do anything to fix the PP. They added Hall and thought that was enough.

How much can we get for Hall in trade

I hate to say it but that may be part of a strategy for a team in year 9 of a rebuild.

So who is the next generational talent I should be rooting for the Sabres to pick in this year's lottery?

Doesn't matter, this organization taints anyone they bring in.

Outplayed them majorly all game and had every PP opportunity you could ask for and now they can’t score

oye that’s a frustrating one

Skinner our best player for two games, got a few more minutes but still not all the big ones he deserved with his play.  Staal is still lazy.  Cozens is maturing. Eakin and Rieder are actually a good third line and we will improve when Okposo comes back. We need more fore checkers.

Cant argue with the goals against.  They had shots and offense all game. Special teams is a tire fire though. Steve Smith needs gone

Much better effort, but not good enough.

We need more from Jack and Ras if we’re going to do anything this year.

The whole point of having secondary scoring is to help carry the load when the main line doesn't score

Dahlin is struggling bad

That rookie goaltender faced a ton of rubber but not enough

There's very little to be excited about on the offensive end

They literally, and I do mean literally, did nothing to fix anything.

You can bring in all the talent you'd like, but it's definitely the team culture that is the problem here. They have heart, no grit, no size.

Meet the new Buffalo Sabres, same as the old Sabres.

Forwards are fine, just need better lines.

D is a concern.

Ullmark isn't a concern, Hutton is.

PP is obviously an issue, but that runs beyond the players on the ice.

Yup, this has to be done when they are 10 points out in a month

Way too soon.  Wait until we get close to playoffs.  This team might start to gel.

2-1 with Ulhmark in net.  0 for 5 on power play against a rookie is the story.

They need to show they can control play, control a game. They can't.
