MODO Hockey Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 I mean, so far so good i guess.. not impressed with thompsson, he looks like a damn mess. Hall looks great, and Hutton has been alright. Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 (edited) I have to say.... Tage doesn't stick out as a sore thumb with Jack and Hall. 1 minute ago, MODO Hockey said: I mean, so far so good i guess.. not impressed with thompsson, he looks like a damn mess. Ha! Look at Hall's baby blues 😍 Edited January 15, 2021 by Doohickie 1 Quote
erickompositör72 Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Not making an excuse- but, it the ice bad? Or maybe it's just getting the timing back & getting used to an empty arena (Marty just mentioned that) Quote
triumph_communes Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 (edited) Super slow and sloppy start. They woke up after they scored a PP goal for sure though. I can get used to Eichel and Hall two on one breakaways. Skinner barely getting ice time but hasn’t looked bad when he has. Cozens getting a lot of time in Okposo’s spot. He’s experiencing that he can’t be cute with the puck against Chara. Also his low percentage shots are all getting deflected. Competition it’s clear he isn’t used to playing against. Rieder is fast. McCabe is looking bad. Dahlin still missing the net wide all the time. Edited January 15, 2021 by triumph_communes Quote

Lot's of new guys. They needed a few shifts just to get a real feel of playing together. 2 Quote

Hardly an insurmountable lead. Just now, LGR4GM said: Miller was solid on defense. YES. I noticed several solid plays. 1 Quote
Shootica Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Very much looked like a preseason game out there. 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Miller is better than Montour. There, I said it. 2 Quote

Stoner Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 @SwampD needs to run the audio on the broadcast. The background noise doesn't work. 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Good thing there is no crowd there because it still would have been eerily quiet. Not a lot to cheer about that period. Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Taylor Hall: Solid Eric Staal: I can't remember seeing him. Quote

sweetlou Posted January 15, 2021 Report Posted January 15, 2021 Sloppy first...they have to get their legs moving. Washington was cycling and Buffalo had no sustained o-time. Still too much standing around in d-zone. Quote
