Neither.  
He will come into the season looking like a rookie with a lot of promise, but still a rookie.  
The Canadian population will get over it if they lose, but it will linger with more than a few hockey nuts.

Quinn isn't ready. That's not a knock on him but he's just not quite fast enough yet. I mean in game processing and play. If he's a half step behind here, he's 2 steps behind the NHL.

I’ve got to give the U.S. the credit they deserve. They came ready to play, Canada has looked like a deer in the headlights most of the game. They’ve had moments but in a game of this magnitude there are no excuses.

Canada surprised me a little bit tonight.  But USA looked fired up right from the start.

Zegras was right that Canada hadn’t really been challenged all tourney, until tonight.

Canada couldn't skate with the US for about 10 minutes across the 1st/2nd, and then couldn't solve Knight.  I didn't like Cozens in this game, and there seemed to be a lot of hesitation "do you have it?/should I get it?" between Canadian players when the puck was loose in their own zone and the US skaters just went and got it.

You didn't like Cozens because he was kept to the perimeter and had no space. The checking of USA was great. Btw I agree about Cozens, I didn't love this game for him.
