dudacek Posted December 23, 2020 Report Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) Quinn and Cozens lead Canada against the Russians in each team’s only exhibition. It might turn into an echo chamber, but I’ll be watching and commenting each game in here. Because I miss hockey. Edited December 23, 2020 by dudacek 1 Quote

He's not on the Team Canada roster: https://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/team-canada/men/junior/2019-20/world-championship/stats/team-rosters?teamid=175 Quote
dudacek Posted December 23, 2020 Author Report Posted December 23, 2020 (edited) He’s #29 on the first line with Cozens and Dach. Edit: @PromoTheRobotyour link is last year’s team. Cozens just had decent scoring chance playing 4-on-4. Made it happen on good hustle after turning over the puck. Edited December 23, 2020 by dudacek 1 Quote
dudacek Posted December 23, 2020 Author Report Posted December 23, 2020 Canada’s first PP. Cozens on it, not Quinn. Quinn on 2nd unit Quote

I thought both he and Dach overhandled the puck that period and it hurt the chemistry of the line. That said, the line spent every shift in the Russian zone. 1 Quote
dudacek Posted December 24, 2020 Author Report Posted December 24, 2020 Cozens coming late with speed on a line change with a glorious chance. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 Nice chance for Cozens, almost Quote
dudacek Posted December 24, 2020 Author Report Posted December 24, 2020 Quinn with a nice chance of the rush and some good sustained pressure there. Best shift by that line. Quote
French Collection Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 Cozens line has spent 90% of their shifts in the Russian end. Dominant possession time. Dach’s big body is the main reason but Cozens and Quinn have made some nice plays. Quote
LGR4GM Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 Love the commentary everyone. Keep it coming. Quote
Taro T Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 Game is on NHL Network in the states, too. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 Cozens nice and tough along the boards there Quote
French Collection Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 I have a hard time hating the Russians with Larionov behind their bench, always liked that guy. Quinn didn’t look out of place, not blazing speed but he was well positioned and had a great chance. Askarov looks good. 2 Quote

French Collection Posted December 24, 2020 Report Posted December 24, 2020 By field is on line #4, he has used his big body to bang some Russians on the forecheck. I like Bowen Byram’s game. Quote
dudacek Posted December 24, 2020 Author Report Posted December 24, 2020 (edited) Quinn takes a penalty as he and Cozens tag-team with an aggressive forecheck. Edited December 24, 2020 by dudacek Quote
dudacek Posted December 24, 2020 Author Report Posted December 24, 2020 (edited) Askarov out and Drysdale scores with a wrister from the blueline on the backup. 1-0 Canada. Edited December 24, 2020 by dudacek Quote

He doesn’t carry the puck much, but he seems to be reliable. Always sticking his nose in there and he goes to the right places in both ends. No errors and a couple decent chances. Definitely belongs.
