On my iPhone, I had to go to:

Settings ...

Safari ...

Scroll down to Advanced ...

Experimental features ...

Turn on: intersection observer, and resize observer.

 

then click out of that thread into another thread. Then click back to that thread. See if it’s better/fixed it.

 

if not, sorry. That worked for me. Mostly.

 

oh ... and I also cleared the website data history. I don’t know if that part is necessary… But if it still doesn’t work you may also want to do that too.

Both already on and I clear out my data often.

Oh well. Luckily, tweets are mostly stupid anyway and I’m not missing out on anything.
