Hes more of a never was.......

He had one decent season with the Blues and has never played enough over a season to really be seen as a #1 guy.

At his age, the odds are extremely slim he is another Tim Thomas

Ok.  Unnecessarily harsh.  He was a solid backup for about 5 years with one excellent season as a backup.  That’s just what he is/was.  I don’t think anyone out there is thinking he is going to be a Vezina winner.  Just that he can maybe be ok as a backup for one more season.
