LGR4GM Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Interesting that the Sabres are going to pitch to Taylor Hall. Personally I would be very worried about paying him too much for too long. Somehow doubt he takes a 4 year deal at 6.5mil though. Quote

Shootica Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Tyler Johnson throws a wrench in this whole day. Makes it really interesting. Quote
Ruff Around The Edges Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Tyler Johnson might be a nice cost friendly move for the Sabres 1 Quote
sabresparaavida Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Kubalik signing with Chicago, 2 years 3.7 mil average. Quote
Shootica Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Now the question becomes how confident are we that the teams ahead of us don't also put a claim in on Johnson. And are we confident enough to delay a free agent signing for 3C. That opens up a lot of tough questions for a lot of GMs. Quote

Ruff Around The Edges Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Rumor is Oilers are making big offer to Markstrom From Cap Friendly: Placing Tyler Johnson on waivers could also be a way for Tampa to get around his No Trade Clause. Meaning that Tampa could have a deal in place where a club has agreed to pick him up off waivers, and then that club makes a separate deal for 'future considerations' with Tampa. Quote
Trettioåtta Posted October 9, 2020 Report Posted October 9, 2020 Johnson is a more expensive and less effective Kahun. Why do people want to pay him? Quote
