IKnowPhysics Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Gotta be a deal in place. Otherwise it's lynching time. We're so weak on the RW and Kahun had a great stint with us. 1 Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 wtf, will not understand if he walks ... 1 Quote
dudacek Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 That’s not as bad as Montour - as much as some in here see it differently, he fits the profile of the Hinostrozzas and the Stechers that aren’t getting QOs - but it still seems ridiculous. Quote

thewookie1 Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 I’m guessing Kahun is already in the midst of being signed.Krueger likes Kahun so I doubt he’s leaving. Quote
Hank Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Just now, dudacek said: What was his QO? Not enough to walk away from i would think. This is a horrible move. Just my opinion of course which means nothing, but this is more surprising to me than the Quinn pick. Quote

I wouldn’t be so sure. From what I’ve seen there are a ton of 3rd-line arb-rights players around the league getting the same news. GMs would rather sign a UFA replacement for $1 million than risk paying them $3 million in arbitration. Edited October 7, 2020 by dudacek Quote
steveoath Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Batshit crazy if there's not a deal there. Quote

I would prefer that if his deal is in the works, we extend a QO and then fix it instead of technically exposing him to UFA 43 hours from now. Quote

freester Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 This is what an an utterly incompetent GM looks like. Just like Botteril. 1 Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 ***** that. Btw, the list of RFAs turned UFAs via no qualifying offer: https://www.capfriendly.com/browse/free-agents/2021/points/all/all/ufa-no-qualifying-offer Quote
Thorner Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Quinn may be great one day - the Sabres have gotten worse over the last 2 days, so far, for the immediate future. Quote
dudacek Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 What no one upset about Remi Elie also being cut? 1 Quote
dudacek Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Be interesting to see what these guys get in the open market. But I don’t see the sense in this at all. Quote
Thorner Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Couldn't pick Rossi cause he was Botterill's guy, couldn't sign Kahun cause he was Botterill's one great trade 😈 1 1 Quote
