Limited space to fit that hit under the cap, and limited goalie spots.  I think they're either buying him out, or waiting til the goalie musical chairs game ends and seeing who's left wanting an overpriced goalie.

Think teams want them to retain, or take a contract in return.

Plus Toronto set the market with Marleau a year ago --- it's got to be at least a first to take on that contract.  And Vegas expects to finish high in the standings.... maybe two lottery-protected 1sts and conditional as only one if MAF is selected by Seattle in expansion.

I'd ask our goalie coach, who previously worked with Fleury, if he thinks his Save % slippage can be fixed. If he does, then I'd say, hey Vegas

just as long as the goalie isn't blind i'm good. i like the idea of murray as he is young and very experienced.
