It doesn’t matter where you’ve been in this world. We all have stories to tell about our favorite places in the world to see for one reason or another. If something comes to mind later, share that too!

Feel free to share pics, if you like.

The ones that stick in my head are US Route 30 in Lancaster County, PA and the I-26 corridor from Johnson City, TN to the mountains of South Carolina.

The Adirondacks is home. Smugglers' Notch/Mt Mansfield. The White Mountains. Las Vegas and everything around it. I love the desert extending up into the Spring Mountains and all the way out to Red Rock. It's friggin beautiful.

Smuggler's Notch IS cool.  Loved the time I spent there.

For me, it's got to be New Orleans French Quarter.  The architecture, the vibe, the crowd.  Favorite fun place.

Other than that, give me a quiet lake shore anywhere.  I'm home listening to waves and watching the water.  The wife and I have been talking about retiring to a lake.  My new position might just allow us to get into that lake house earlier than we hoped.

My wife is currently in Lancaster, PA. She's digging it. She grew up on farms.

Georgian Bay. On an island. I could probably find it. The boys were out on the boats fishing. I was sleeping,... hungover. The most Zen moment of Zen in my life.

Alaska. Several places.

The Hawaiian sky at night (the big island.)

Golden Beach State Park.

The Niagara River.

I was just remembering my fishing trips to the Georgian Bay years ago and then I saw your post. It's very relaxing up there. I used to fish Owen Sound, Meaford, Thornbury, and Collingwood.

Love Arizona...Apache Trail, Grand Canyon, Montezuma's Castle, Hoover Dam.

Mammoth Caves in KY.

Gettysburg.

Too many places to list.. Very grateful to be able to experience every one.

I feel the same way, and I can't wait for the world to open up again, I'm itching for an international trip!

Watkins glen state park in the winter when it’s closed. It’s beautiful.

Is it closed? Or are you allowed in with ice climbing gear?

Ricketts Glen State Park in PA closes in the winter. But if you have proper ice climbing equipment you are allowed to do some rad stuff on the frozen waterfalls. Also it's pretty darn nice looking.

For me Alaska. I was there for a training exercise when I was in the Navy so I got paid to spend the month of May their in 2017. It was just beautiful and I want to go back. I also got to spend a month in Key West for a training exercise which was nice. I recommend the Hemingway way house if you go there.

30,000 Islands of Georgian Bay Ont... Glacier Nation Park MT

Georgian Bay seems pretty popular here. Seems like there's more people on here than what I saw when I was there.

I remember one trip where on opening day of trout it was 25 degrees and 40MPH winds at noon. Fishing was great but was cold as heck.
