An undrafted rookie with a hat trick and the OT GWG in game 7! Awesome. And the GWG was set up on a very nifty play by none other than Reggie Sekera, working from Wayne Gretzky's office. 1 Quote
KC Scouts Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 Vegas take a penalty. Here is Vancouver's best chance to win the game Quote
Thorner Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 (edited) 167 to 267 for shots this series to Vegas. I can't believe an expansion team is going to lose 2 series, this early in it's existence, where it was clearly the better team. Edited September 5, 2020 by Thorny Quote
nfreeman Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 This game kinda feels like Vegas will continue to dominate but Vancouver will jump on a loose puck at some point and beat Lehner. I think they just said that Demko has saved the last 96 shots he's faced. 1 Quote
Thorner Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 ^Vancouver is winning for sure Quote

ubkev Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 Demko way out of position on that goal from Tuch Quote
KC Scouts Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 Na Na Na Na......Na Na Na Na...Hey Hey Hey.....Good-bye A complete zero from Vancouver offensively. Quote
7+6=13 Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 We need some men on our team so badly. Quote
nfreeman Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 Lehner had 3 shutouts in this series. If he plays well in the next round, someone will give him a nice contract in the offseason. Good for him. Quote
Zamboni Posted September 5, 2020 Report Posted September 5, 2020 Love it.... time to kill Dallas Quote

Well, I think if he had crashed and burned in the playoffs, he’d have been looking at another short-term deal from someone, especially in an offseason with plenty of available goalies. Quote

Or maybe the culture here is simply not good. I don't have an answer to that but it does make me wonder. (I don't think O'Reilly has crashed into a Tim's in St. Louis either has he?) Quote

If memory serves, O'Reilly got hammered and drove into the Hortons before he ever played a game with the sabres. Now, the culture here does suck. But it isn't the reason that ROR DWI'd Timmy Ho's and then bought his way out of it. That has more to do with being young and rich. 2 Quote

I thought it was right after signing the big contract but I might have that memory wrong. Point is we brought him in as a key piece when he was like that. We also had party animal Kane raping the pillaging the town (allegedly) and well, in recent years there's more stories and rumours in that direction than in the dedicated athlete direction. Lehner came into that mix. Quote
