Besides from this possibly being the longest playoff game in NHL history, Korpisalo just set the record for most saves in a playoff game. Breaking Kelly Hrudey's save mark of 73 saves, a record that stood for 33 years.

It's not the longest game yet- 2 games in the 30s lasted well over 5 OT periods, and one in 2000 lasted about 5 more minutes.

I think Korpisalo was the best player on the ice despite the result.  That's 2 fantastic games in a row.

edit - looks like the 3 star people think so, too.
