I can google that and I see a lot of information, but a child abuse ring is not quite the same as the widespread actions you are describing.  Child trafficking, sex trafficking happen in all countries and when a "ring" is discovered/arrested it's certainly shines a light on the problem, but I don't equate it to people not women not being able to walk down the street.

I'll read more if you share. You know the US news doesn't cover much of anything internationally.

I don't know if there are any most are in dutch, any news events that links to twitter acounts, those accounts been deleted because they were bullied online to much.

I will try finding some, but its hard for girls to stand up to these kind of things and also put them online.   I wouldn't want to be one because its a massive target the next time you walk down the street.   Just plain animal behaviour.

You know I'm a big dude 196 cm , I guess that is like 6'3 ?   20 years ago when i was 17 and still went into brussels, the only problems I had was Kurds seeking protection on street by befriending me.   Or sunni vs shia muslims beating up on each other.    But more and more the Saudi Imams came in , trying to convert everyone against the Christians.

You got the Turkish grey wolves supported by their Diyanet and Erdogan to consider them superior to all other races -  Erdogan is for me the successor for Hitler and Stalin, but the way he is going he is more a Tamerlane in the middle east.
You have had Sunni vs Shia muslims stabbing each other, but also targeting any non-muslim.   Most in Europe are Sunni Muslims following whatever their Saudi Imam tells them.

The city I live closest to, (Vilvoorde), few years ago I noticed a great reduction in crime rates, even the mayor came out and said it was going down.  I remarked to my friends well yeah they all went to Syria, few months ago my friend, we call him 'billy', showed me picture of all his buddies he said: mate they are all over there, little gangster here, big pigs over there, almost all dead or presumed dead.

Now Billy bit tragic, dude is mentally strong, he went out of toxic muslim environment.   19 fell in love with Hindu girl, damn she was beautiful, was glad for him, after two years he tells his family , I will mary this girl but she won't convert.   His family cast him out because ' we can't explain this to the rest of the muslim community'.  He followed his heart and married her, few years later and divorce happens.   I'm with him at bar, he is  really depressed, but besides him making some bad comments about his ex girlfriend he never regretted the choice he made about leaving that environment.

I'm considered a level headed guy by everyone, at work most likes me no matter what colour or religion, but from the muslims I only hear one thing, government needs to band Saudi Imams, I tell them why you still send your kids to those mosques ?   Well we have to is the only response I get.

I have 2 issues with this....

1) justification or not is not the "root" of the problem. The problem is the lack of morals, self responsibility,  and faith( other than 1hr/week). If this were to change there would be much less police inter-actions and maybe less need for them all together. There's an old saying...."if you can't do the time, don't do the crime".

2) Why aren't these players protesting the violence that's killing innocent people on the streets everyday causing the police to get involved? There are many more people getting killed in this fashion.

Just to add another point, I'm ok with equal justice system .  However, my conclusion is if there is an inequality in minority vs white sentencing, then raise the white sentencing to equal that of the minorities and not the other way around. I'm sure that would make everyone "equally" unhappy.

Having more people in the privately run criminal justice system is not a good idea. There are too many in there already.

The incidents with police are the face that's being put on the larger issues that plague our society. This is why I am against protests. Changing the police will not change the reason these incidents are happening. There are fundamental societal changes that need occur and that change has to involve everyone. Anything else will be doomed to fail.

However, the violence that police are using within the United States is exceptional compared to elsewhere in the world. They are closer to a military force than a protecting force. There are no doubts that with it be a thankless job it attracts those who might be in it just because it allows them to be "legally violent".  Clearly it's not all of them, but clearly there are deep issues within the police forces of the United States. This problem get exacerbated with those who are not part of that uber violent group feel compelled to protect those who are because of police brotherhood. This only serves to irritate the public more because now police and governments are seen to be wrongfully protecting violent criminals simply because they wear a badge.

I have a different fear: I don't do the crime, but I do the time anyway.  I have a perpetual fear of being killed by someone in authority over my skin colour and/or religious beliefs.  If you don't feel this, you don't get it.

'2) Why aren't these players protesting the violence that's killing innocent people on the streets everyday causing the police to get involved? There are many more people getting killed in this fashion.'

Because I could die today from police bigotry and racism.  The survival instinct trumps all others.  Besides, the players DO work on those other issues.  But they may have been or seen their friends been targetted by police just because of their skin colour.  This has to be dealt with first because no one is exempt, no matter how law-abiding, we are presumed guilty until proven innocent.

'Just to add another point, I'm ok with equal justice system .  However, my conclusion is if there is an inequality in minority vs white sentencing, then raise the white sentencing to equal that of the minorities and not the other way around. I'm sure that would make everyone "equally" unhappy.'

No white would accept a black person shooting two white people at a Trump rally and just being taken in peacefully by the cops.  But the white guy who shoots two innocent people helping blacks?  He's a ****ing hero.

And you wonder why people cheered OJ getting away with murder.  That was the one time it went the other way.

Although I might say here.. it was a white man shooting two other white men.  Your analogy to the Trump rally should read a black man shooting two black men. At the same time I think it's safe to say. A black man walks into that protect with the gun that Rittenhouse had and there's an exceptionally high chance he's shot on sight.  That's the problem and frankly the Kenosha police department demonstrated their clear bias by not taking action.

There may be discussion and debate about the police shooting of Blake that lead to that protest, but I'm not sure how any one can justify the actions of the police with regards to Rittenhouse.

You know, there are still quite a few Catholic groups and Jewish groups that consider themselves superior to everyone else as well.  What you describe is seen in many religions. I'd say it is far more prevalent in those who have recently emigrated from countries that were largely comprised of the same school of thought but it should be expected since all their lives it's all they've known.

If you look at the history of the United States you would see similar events occurring as people of different nationalities emigrated here.  The "neighborhoods" and the separatism were strong.  Those similar separatist attitudes also exist here with not just Muslim immigrants, but immigrants of many countries/religions/ethnicities.

Interestingly, someone in the United States might make a remark about Latino/Asian gangs in a similar fashion to your reference on Muslim criminals.  I don't look at those remarks and think that all Latino or Asian people are the same.

Sigh.. I shall have a Negroni and ponder deeper things.  When asked who I would like to spend a day with... he's in my Top 5.

Let me say one thing that pissed me of the most.   At Easter grandkids weren't allowed with grandparents, couldn't celebrate that day.   Not that it has a religious meaning for many but a time to spend with family gathering Easter eggs.

Few months later Eid was allowed though, lets not piss of the Muslims, they might riot and  start burning cars again.
Two weeks later this country goes in lockdown because of higher Covid infection rates.    Big guess which groups were affected ?

Just no ***** respect for the rest of the country, they get to do what they want and give the rest of us a big ***** you back.
