Stoner Posted July 4, 2020 Author Report Posted July 4, 2020 There has never been a Sabre with a last name starting in Q or X. What more common letter completes this list? Quote

Impressive. Randy Ireland. The second was his coach for the two games he played with the Sabres. (I think... there was a coaching change early that season, but I believe Ireland's two games came after that.) Quote
Stoner Posted July 4, 2020 Author Report Posted July 4, 2020 Actually, no. This question just got a lot more interesting. Ireland did not play for the coach whose last name starts with I (and who played for the Sabres). But Ireland did play a large role in getting the I dude his job. Quote

I can vividly remember the shock of Inglis as coach wearing off with the apparent return of good times. Someone else also appeared to bring back the good old days that season. That man? GASabresIUFAN Posted July 9, 2020 Report Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) How many Buffalo metro area born players have played for the Sabres? Who was the first USA born player to play for the Sabres? Who was the first English born player to play for the Sabres and how many games did he play? The Sabres have had players from how many countries play for them? How many continents?
