Leafs D gift wrapped a few goals in this series. Dallas didn't.

Great game last night. Real fun to watch. 

 

I appreciate that team team a lot more now after watching them play the last week. I had not learned how to skate by 1999 and I now do so I see the game a lot different than I use to. 

Satan was better than I remembered. What a real talent he was. 

Dixon Ward was pretty darn good. What happened to him?? 

Balanced scoring sure helped them. 

And a great power play. And it seemed like they just threw whoever was on the bench out at forward on the PP. And it worked. 

And again, boy do I wish we had a Mike Peca on this team now.

That 98-99 team (emphasis on team, not roster) was a fantastic sum of its parts.

Edit: I'm a few days behind because I have to watch these through NHL, so I'm wrapping the Boston series today. But these games were all pretty wild and fun. Very engaging.
