Before he retires, I’d like him to record a “Sabres win the Stanley Cup!” For future use. No announcer’s voice deserves to be heard more over a Sabres Cup win then his.

RJ is like that stuffed animal we all grew up with. We loved him, and still don’t want to let him go. 
 

I fell asleep to his voice on my clock radio so many nights in the 80’s and early 90’s. He was like a family member. I made sure to go to the game when he was inducted into the Sabres HOF, and I cried like a baby. RJ is awesome. It’s gonna suck when he’s gone, and he’s not replaceable.
