Over the past two days, I finished reading two books. Yesterday, it was We Cannot Be Silent by R. Albert Mohler, Jr. Today, it was A Defense of Liberty Against Tyrants by Junius Brutus.

Now comes the hard part: modernizing the latter. It's going to take some time, but I believe it will be well worth it. I may read Machiavelli's The Prince just to see how much the other book was an outright antithesis.

I just put The Prince into the box to go to Half-Price Books... when I can go to HPB again. My wife and I are going to clean up the "library" shelves and decor with the added free time and it was time to purge some of the ones that I just won't re-read and kids can readily pick up for their various classes. Also going out are a pile of Greek plays.

I'm about to dive in to the "classic number" books that I didn't end up reading in high school. Fahrenheit 451, Catch-22, Slaughterhouse 5, which I had stockpiled from HPB over the last couple years and still hadn't gotten to.

I have 451 in my possession. I've read 5. Very weird book where the reader has to pay attention to what's going on. Nonetheless, Kurt Vonnegut used some of his wartime experience as a backstory to it.

Watching replays of women's college volleyball.  For some reason, my right hand is extremely tired.

I got a marble run puzzle as a gift, looks cool, it'll take me some time to piece together, looking forward to sitting in the sun room and playing mad scientist once my work stretch is over.

Just got done jamming with my brother over the internet.

JamKazam. Wow, what a world.

EDIT: We just brought our Guitar player into the mix and jammed a bunch of tunes. Un-freakin'-believable.

Definitely going to have a live show up soon.

Sat out in the sun today. 54 and sunny. So now I'm lobster red from my 35 minutes in the sun and my wife is threatening to buy a tanning bed.

Did the shirtless handstand challenge.

I’m that bored.

At least you didn’t do one of the countless low IQ challenges I’ve read about. So you have that going for you. ??

It's a sad day when shirtless handstands don't qualify as low IQ.

I'm retired. Daughter has ordered me and wife to stay in. Fortunately her husband is in food service and has to work. Daughter brings food and leaves in garage blows us a kiss and goes on her way. Spend most my time doing what I normally do. Have enough books to last me. Interesting that I really don't miss sports at all. Check with me few months from now maybe that will change. Still do check this site though.

Between working from home, I've been baking a lot. Working on perfecting my no-knead bread recipe. (The secret ingredient is honey.) Being the kitchen manager. Major cleaning and repairs around the house. Prepping the pool for it's spring opening. Walking the dogs daily.
