I said this in the Dahlin thread:

"Maybe Dahlin matures into a defenceman where at the end of the game you say, "I didn't notice Dahlin out there."  Then you look at the stat line and he had 3 assists, 4 blocked shots, 5 hits and was a plus 4."

He's getting closer every game.

He took a noticeable step after he got back from his injury. Hopefully he keeps trending up.

Say what you will about RFK, but this team has not quit on him.

And that is why I'm beginning to believe in him. Any X and O deficiencies can be fixed with different assistants but this team has quit on every coach (besides Ted Nolan) and has really bought into him.

How’d they miss as that?

And Holtby doesn’t look all that great

Facing relentless pressure does that to a goalie.

Yeah, he seems to have a message the players like but he needs help with tactics and special teams. Unfortunately he probably keeps his staff due to loyalty and sticking with the plan.

I dunno, he doesn't seem the type. I think there's some ruthlessness behind those eyes.

Seriously, If I were at KBC, I would give the Sabres a standing ovation for the 2 periods they just played against a very good team.

Do this 2 out of 3 games over an entire season and you're a bona fide playoff team.

I am listening on WGR so I have a very limited feel for this game.

SS comments are much appreciated.

Well I’m at the Bunodome and I’ll do it right now. Woot woot. Great 40 minutes of hockey.
