darksabre Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 Vesey has played 300 NHL games? How? Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 I have noticed we play a much better game these days And great effort but we still persistently make bonehead plays defensively and we lack skill and goal scorers. We are 4-5 players away yet of competing with playoff level teams. Quote

KC Scouts Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 They all could be better, Every last one of them, including the coaching. Its just not enough no matter how you add it up 1 Quote
Thorner Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 I definitely should have pumped the breaks on that "strong finish, meaningful games" stuff.. Quote

Nitro60 Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 Game. Miller and Hutton both out of position. Quote
Don Dokken Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 Glad I stayed up for that memorably bad goaltending display Quote

It is definitely not as egregious of a play as skating right by the open man and doing literally nothing, which is what Olofsson did. Edited February 29, 2020 by Thorny Quote

Zamboni Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 8 minutes ago, darksabre said: Did Skinner pick up Hutton's stick and give it back to him? Isn't that illegal? National Hockey League rules indicate that a goaltender who has dropped his stick cannot have his teammate return the stick to him by sliding or throwing it. This results in a two-minute minor penalty to the player who handed the stick to the goaltender. The stick can only be returned to him by picking it up and handing it to him. A goaltender who has broken his stick can continue to play with it until the play stops. During play, a teammate can also hand him a new stick. A goaltender often needs his stick to make critical saves so one of his teammates will often hand him a regular player's stick until a play stoppage. Quote

dudacek Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 (edited) Hutton could have been better but Miller got schooled on the 3rd one. Edited February 29, 2020 by dudacek Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 A bad Risto tendency, the needless flip to the opponent when he had time, and we never touched the puck again, they grabbed it and made a beeline for our net and scored Quote
