spndnchz Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 Yeah, they’re going up again. plus the addition of multiple tiers. I.e. shoot twice end is more than defend once end. So confusing Quote
spndnchz Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 At least the Royal Blues are coming back. Quote

If you are shooting on the same net in the 1st and 3rd period.... you are defending the opposite net at the other end of the rink, in the 1st and 3rd period. So you are defending that same net just once ... in the 2nd period. So the Sabres feel those seats are in higher demand, therefore the price increase. Edited February 28, 2020 by Zamboni Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 Well they are lowering prices in some sections. I may opt to move to a low-rent district. Quote

I have a 1 bedroom half bath, missing the toilet but there is an out-house. All this way cheaper than going to a hockey game once a week. Quote
Ogre Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 Upping the bar for season ticket holders acrosst the board regardless of the team/league. Prepping the masses for the years of inevitable greatness that have been cleverly crafted by the Pegula group. Step right up and renew folks! Plenty of trinkets for everyone! 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 Kevyn Adams is on WGR 550 trying to explain this. Nothing like some good old fashioned spin. "Hey we have been trash for a decade and there really is no end in sight but this will help us do things and stuff and revenue sharing, you know business stuff and things, look if Chewbacca a 7ft tall wookie lives on Endor that does not makes sense... look at the monkey." They claim they are putting together a focus group of fans. Will listen to them before next season starts. They are also going to have season ticket reps so you will talk to the same person. Claim they are looking at what worked and what didn't work with the 50th events and specifically mentioned bringing in past players as very good. Wants to give fans more behind the scenes experiences, mentioned rope line. Secondary market, how do you keep season ticket holders from selling? They said they pay attention to the market and look at it. The league also looks at it and discusses it. Buffalo has to run their core business to be sustainable, we don't react that the secondary market changes the way they view their core business. "Fans, we are going to help them with this re-scale. There will be a price point for everyone." Single tickets will have a different pricing structure as well but they have not finalized it. Quote

Stoner Posted February 28, 2020 Report Posted February 28, 2020 How do people in business learn to talk like this: ‘”It’s important to start with the fact the whole building was rescaled and when we got advice from the National Hockey League and looked at markets across the league, best practices, we internally made the decision to use our analytic department to speak to us and give us the data back..."
