I’m not going into the abortion debate but if the kid is still alive why wouldn’t you provide medical care? Are you supposed to stand there and watch a baby die?

I think this can be answered without going into the abortion debate.  If the child is alive, provide medical care.  That one is pretty simple.

Is this where I am supposed to put anything that I am not sure where to put?????

Anyway,

I don't think Governor Cuomo will survive this.

I can't see him not resigning.  It seems inevitable.  IMO he needs to get it over with and pronto.

Not a fan but if he didn’t do it he should fight it.  Who knows though.

Why did the US and Canada invade Afghanistan and several died there for no reason?

Those poor people.  The past 50 years have been just terrible.

If I was a veteran of that war I would be really pissed right about now.

The past is sunk costs.  We never should have been there, and we definitely should not lose any more American lives because we lost a bunch there foolishly before.

I agree.  And Canadian lives ... IIRC, around 250 Canadian Forces personel died there and many more after coming home and being abandoned.  I don't know the number, but there have been a significant number of suicides.  It's sad.  Very sad.

This is how I fondly remember Senator Robert Dole ...

https://www.npr.org/2021/12/11/1063270990/opinion-bob-doles-efforts-to-prevent-the-genocide-of-bosnians-remembered

As one of the few who really cared about what was happeniing in Bosnia.  The Clintons have blood on their hands from Bosnia and Rewanda.

I am terrified by news reports and what friends are telling me from Bosnia now.  Seems like there is going to be another war.  I gave them 20 years at the most to sort things out after that disaster of Dayton ended the war in such a terrible way.
