Marions Piazza Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Erod scored in the last Pens game, Pens fans on Twitter talking about what a steal he was and how stupid Buffalo was to trade him Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 ERod is a decent depth player who can play stints up and down the lineup. He also disappears for games at a time. For a team on the verge of a playoff run, he has value as a depth forward- typically bottom 6 or the odd man out. Although some around here would deny it, he's a real NHLer, but more of a support player than a star. I can see Pens fans thinking they fleeced us considering they got a known quantity back in Sheary plus a depth forward. That helps them now. I think Kahun is viewed by them as still developing/growing into the NHL and seen more as a future piece. But they want now, not future. This could be a trade that's won by both sides. Quote

Satan had 363 career goals. Kahun has scored 25, and he's turning 25 this offseason. He's in his prime. So Kahun will have to score 34 goals a season for the next 10 years to reach Satan's total, a season total Jack Eichel has achieved once in 5 tries. Edited March 23, 2020 by Thorny Quote
