The team sucked during his time here, but he also went through some horrific injury problems and the team stuck by him. I could see some loyalty there. It all depends whether Angry Larry thinks the team is moving in the right direction and close to meaningful competition in the post season. Huckleberry Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) After seeing last game, how anyone can say with certainty sheary is better than simmonds.  If simmonds can collect a pass he is instantly better. Edited February 24, 2020 by Huckleberry 3 1 Quote

He also played for Germany 3 times in the World Juniors and for them in the 2018 Olympics. I wonder if RK knows him? Seems like a nice pickup for 2 UFAs with little value. .5 ppg and possibly still rising at center. Sounds good.  9 minutes ago, dudacek said: Can he mesh with Skinner? Could see it go either way. By most likely being below the actual cap now (rather than just under what they're allowed to be w/ BF-LTIR) they can pay some of Dahlin's & Olofsson's bonuses out of this year's cap rather than next year's cap. 1 Quote
Randall Flagg Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 Just watched a grainy video that had some of his goals in Chicago. he was always within 10 feet of the goal line. A good first sign. 1 Quote

triumph_communes Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 Can’t say we’re a farmhouse for Pittsburgh with this deal. Kahun is a solid piece and is RFA. Neither Rodrigues or Sheary had any future with this team, and Sheary was barely contributing on the ice. Kahun will in one role or another. 1 Quote

woods-racer Posted February 24, 2020 Report Posted February 24, 2020 From his stats and bio he looks like a younger Larrson. If that is true we might just have 3 legitimate 3rd line centers. Which is the best we've had since Sabotka went down. Quote

If he is, he doesn't take faceoffs. 22 last year and 28 so far this year. Yahoo fantasy has him designated as lw/rw. And that's all the research I'm prepared to do. 1 Quote
