MODO Hockey Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 Well then, i'll say it again In my opinion the best game this team has played this season when it comes to beeing competitive and playing for the cause, the team. Just beautiful, thank you boys for this show and may you keep showing up like this to all games that comes. 5 Quote

When are the same old Sabres going to show up to play out the string? You mean the squads that would play out the string on their heroic run to 8th or 9th? I hope so. 1 Quote

I saw on Twitter earlier today that if the won this game they would have the same record as this same point in the season last year. Let's keep these efforts up and get rolling for next season. 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 The Isles are still playing, but we're not competing with them. JBot --- it's your call now. Are you going for it or selling for next year? This squad is playing well. Maybe still not quite there, but they're playing well. Quote

I hated all of the mean spirited posts about him ealrier this season. He's not a force like he used to be but he's a true pro out there. 5 Quote

He's gotta be a Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy candidate. He's doing his absolute best to give the Sabres value for his contract. 3 Quote

woods-racer Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 2-1 with a minute left in the 3rd and the Sabres held the opponent with out a shot for the last 7 minutes. Nice. 2 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted February 23, 2020 Report Posted February 23, 2020 (edited) The inflight WiFi worked. Got to listen at least. Here's something I leaned today. NHL app can't locate you when you are in the air. So no video for you. Edited February 23, 2020 by PromoTheRobot 2 Quote

I really like him as a player (and a person) and I still get scared any time he gets hit or worse... goes after someone to defend a teammate. Love him on the team (cost...sure...) but still worry about him because just like Tim C and LaFontaine and countless others, head injuries are scary. 1 Quote

I still think you look to next year unless there is a good hockey trade. Those normally are not deadline deals. Look to see what you can get for those not in future plans and continue to build for the future. 1 1 Quote

The GMTM school of goalie-ing... draft a really big guy of the Swedish disposition. I don't know that you want to limit yourself to just one nation's tallest people (no offense @MODO Hockey), but both Ullmark and JJ have really blossomed in their years since drafting. 1 Quote

WPG is just a tight checking team. There wasn't a lot of room out there for Ollie or Jack or Skinner or any of the top threats. 2 minutes ago, Tondas said: "Honey, does this goalie equipment make me look fat?" Let's hope so! 1 1 Quote
