(Come to think of it, I don't think there's a more perfect RW for Jack in the entire league.) What would he cost? Cozens, Risto, a first? More? And yes I know they're 100% not trading Gallagher, I'm just daydreaming Quote

Brawndo Posted September 24, 2019 Author Report Posted September 24, 2019 Drouin seems like the odd man out in Montreal. And imagine that, a young player can actually force their way onto the a NHL Roster based on his play and displace a veteran in the process. 2 Quote

LGR4GM Posted September 25, 2019 Report Posted September 25, 2019 This has nothing to do with anything but I always remember that Columbus had the opportunity to draft Puljujarvi and their GM is a Finn. He passed on his countryman even though it made a lot of sense to draft him there. Always found that interesting but less so now. 1 Quote

I watched a lot of Drouin in 2013 when he was a Moosehead. Sure, that was a stacked team, but I still think he will be a very good player. So, I would make that trade. Quote

He has gotten better imo, watched him a lot at Montreal last year... not sure of off ice issues and if he has matured. Not as many D hiccups and kid, can skate, dangle and pass when he wants to. Still a bit selfish with puck. Quote
Brawndo Posted September 26, 2019 Author Report Posted September 26, 2019 (edited) It’s Elkund, therefore it’s BS. However let’s have some fun, he is reporting the Islanders are putting together a package that includes a 1st Round Pick for Risto. What else do we want? Edited September 26, 2019 by Brawndo Quote
Randall Flagg Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 I don't want a first round pick back for Risto, that's too much value tied up in a piece of the trade that doesn't help the team right now. 4 Quote

I gotta agree with this. I'd add to get Eberle but I don't want a first coming back. Quote

Zamboni Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Brock Nelson would be a nice add. Risto, a 2021 1st, and a mid level prospect like Murray or Dea. 1 Quote
sabills Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Yeah, I'd rather trade away a protected first then bring one in. 1 Quote
Tondas Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Risto and a 5th for a 1st, Cizikas and Ho-Sang? Quote
thewookie1 Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 I wouldn't trade my 1st at all until we actually make it to the playoffs again. Practically every risk we take immediately explodes in our face so I'd rather not play that game. 1 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted September 26, 2019 Report Posted September 26, 2019 Risto for picks of any kind? No thank you. I am so tired of waiting for the future potential. I personally don't think he's going anywhere. 2 Quote
North Buffalo Posted September 27, 2019 Report Posted September 27, 2019 Risto for a 2c or bust... otherwise I like what I am seeing out of him in preseason. He is staying with the puck better even when he doesn't or isn't able to clear the zone. Less boneheaded plays. Dahlin on the other hand... Still the two seem to be backing each other up so much better... hope it continues. Quote
