Guess I'll take Gallagher off their hands ?

(Come to think of it, I don't think there's a more perfect RW for Jack in the entire league.)

What would he cost? Cozens, Risto, a first? More?

And yes I know they're 100% not trading Gallagher, I'm just daydreaming

Drouin seems like the odd man out in Montreal.

And imagine that, a young player can actually force their way onto the a NHL Roster based on his play and displace a veteran in the process.

I'd take Drouin... despite his headache

As it is right now, there is no way the Sabes are not picking top 10 for 1 more year

Which is why we only need lottery protection on this year’s first.

This has nothing to do with anything but I always remember that Columbus had the opportunity to draft Puljujarvi and their GM is a Finn. He passed on his countryman even though it made a lot of sense to draft him there. Always found that interesting but less so now.

What about actual McCabe?  The often and currently injured one.

Well obviously Drouin is better than McCabe in the press box.

Healthy McCabe vs Drouin? I'll take McCabe thank you.

I watched a lot of Drouin in 2013 when he was a Moosehead. Sure, that was a stacked team, but I still think he will be a very good player.

So, I would make that trade.

He has gotten better imo, watched him a lot at Montreal last year... not sure of off ice issues and if he has matured.  Not as many D hiccups and kid, can skate, dangle and pass when he wants to.  Still a bit selfish with puck.

It’s Elkund, therefore it’s BS. However let’s have some fun, he is reporting the Islanders are putting together a package that includes a 1st Round Pick for Risto. What else do we want?

I don't want a first round pick back for Risto, that's too much value tied up in a piece of the trade that doesn't help the team right now.

I gotta agree with this. I'd add to get Eberle but I don't want a first coming back.

Risto for a 2c or bust... otherwise I like what I am seeing out of him in preseason.  He is staying with the puck better even when he doesn't or isn't able to clear the zone.  Less boneheaded plays.  Dahlin on the other hand...   Still the two seem to be backing each other up so much better... hope it continues.
