Randall Flagg Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 (edited) Eichel scored the game winning goal in the third period after the Leafs tied it up and spent a couple shifts playing like the most dangerous team in the league. It completely changed the momentum. Matthews did nothing. His line got caved in most of the game. Jack's spent the game caving the Leafs in. Jack now has 14 goals in 17 Leaf games. I hope nfreeman allows me to chalk yet another Leaf dagger game up for Jack ? Edited February 17, 2020 by Randall Flagg 3 1 Quote
jad1 Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Steal a 2c at the trade deadline and this team will be on the right track. We need a Briere type trade right now. 2 Quote

He’s had his shakey moments, but he has upped his game, and he was good tonight. Hutton seems to do better when he doesn't have competition looking over his shoulder. 1 Quote

freester Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 I think that may have been the best Okposo goal I’ve ever seen. 4 1 Quote

Well, a steal will unlikely happen. But that should STILL be the primary focus. Just like it’s been for several months. Hope JB can grab someone worthwhile. Even if it’s just for two years. Quote
woods-racer Posted February 17, 2020 Author Report Posted February 17, 2020 This team is really fun to watch when they come to play for 60 minutes. 2 1 Quote

dudacek Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 I don’t want to trade Risto. If it happens, it better be for the right player. 5 1 Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Welp, they came, they saw, and they fed them the BIG KOBASA...…………. NEVER QUESTION THE POWER OF THE KOBASA!!!!!! deep thoughts by, ScottySabres Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 What the hell is KOBASA? Do you mean Kielbasa? 1 2 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Well, it felt like we were actually a meaningful hockey team for a night. Who knows what happens the rest of the season, but at least tonight was fun. 2 1 Quote

Randall Flagg Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Krueger has me convinced, and therefore Botts deserves my praise for bringing him in Sign Larry tonight please 1 1 1 Quote
darksabre Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Welp, they're 5-4-1 since the All Star break, which... Isn't bad? 1 Quote

freester Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 If Skinner was producing away from Eichel we would be in such better shape. I’m concerned he has evolved into Okposo. (Similar to how Okposo evolved away from Tavares) 1 Quote

Doohicksie Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 In a game that Eichel scores the game winning goal, he wasn't one of the three stars. And I'm okay with that. Vesey, Risto and Okie all deserved to be stars. 2 minutes ago, freester said: If Skinner was producing away from Eichel we would be in such better shape. I’m concerned he has evolved into Okposo. Doohicksie Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Eichel scores more goals per game against TO than anyone else... passed Ovie tonight. 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 I like this team when they play 60 minutes; they seriously look good when they all play hard. When Eichel isn't the lone contributor we play well. Who would of thought? I like Larsson, but I also want change so I'm torn. Quote
darksabre Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 If Botterill had the guts he could get ONE second line player to give this team a chance at making a run. They've been up and down, but they're resilient, which is a big improvement from last year. They have managed to put win streaks together. Quote
