DarthEbriate Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Great shift, GLO. If Eichel buries that, we're all aglow. Alas... good save. Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 The puck possession, positioning and passing by Columbus is far superior in every aspect of the game. Buffalo is not winning this game. Quote

And so, really, is selling out a prospects tournament in 2015 erupting after every goal from every late round pick. Cheers when there shouldn't be, boos when it doesn't make sense. It's the cycle management signed up for with their incompetence. 1 Quote
Tondas Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 All I see is 19 guys on the bench saying, "WTF Jack, we're down by 2, do something." Quote

Like, I think sometimes the guys with no hands are at least good defensively because they process the game well, play good positionally, have good awareness. They aren't going to score, but they aren't going to kill you either. That's why they end up being coaches. But this team has a bunch of players who not only cannot score, but also seem completely clueless about where they're supposed to be and when. That's chaos. Those are tank players. Quote
Thorner Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Jack is now a little snake-bit in the goal column. 40 seemed a certainty a few weeks ago.. Quote
Claude Balls Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Jeesh, now Eichel can't even hit the net. That "can't finish" stink is rubbing off on him. Quote

One of the reasons I wanted Eichel and Skinner on the same line while Olofsson was out is that each one of them could get the other off the schneid because they are both so dangerous. Quote

Unfortunately, too many teams look at Buffalo as an opportunity to play their backup netminders. They know we have problems finishing! Quote
Pimlach Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Are the Columbus goalies really that good or is it the defensive play of the team? Their goalies have some very impressive stats. 2 minutes ago, Thorny said: Jack is now a little snake-bit in the goal column. 40 seemed a certainty a few weeks ago.. He can get 40+ if he keeps shooting. 1 Quote
Curt Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Just realized that Hutton has a special paint job to go with the 50th Anniversary sweaters. Looks sharp. Quote

Pimlach Posted February 14, 2020 Report Posted February 14, 2020 Gare, Terry Martin, and Tony McKegney hung out at Mulligans in Hertel ( long gone). That was a problem. Things happened there, especially in the back room. Scotty Bowman traded them all once he found out what was happening. 1 Quote

Penguin must have finished them (Batman and Robin) by now! Riddler: Why, that stupid waddling mountebank of a bird! He couldn't finish a bag of popcorn! Edited February 14, 2020 by E4 ... Ke2 Quote
