So... we're incapable of overcoming an injury to our 4W (Okposo), a teenage defenseman (with any of the other 8 NHL-caliber defensemen), and a rookie winger (I mean, sure, Olofsson is great). Other than that, we're playing with a backup goalie. Playing the injury card excuse is: denied.

Don't kid yourself. Terry thinks exactly like Pierre does. And this wild card: the media is too negative and it hurts the team. McCabe introduced that one the other night.

I really support trading or cutting all the players on this team except Jack, Dahlin, Olofsson, Uhlmark and I guess we can’t trade Skinner (salary).  
Maybe I keep Risto   ?  

The rest have all been hear too long in a losing environment or they are JBot garbage acquisitions.   
 

Of course I say this out if complete frustration but I do think a major house cleaning is long overdue.

Agree on talent.  But a GM needs to build a team suited for the NHL environment at the time.    So far JBOT has failed.

This is ridiculous. If a team is hurt by the media, then they're not professionals.

Now... if a team is weak, I can see them being easily swayed by a good home crowd. This team plays well on Saturday afternoons/mornings (with lots of kids) so maybe they respond to an exuberant crowd. But the team needs to make its crowd exuberant, not rely on it. (Football excluded, as there are only 8 home games.)
