If I'm projecting this group next year, I don't think Brown makes the team.  Diggs is the primary, Beasley the slot,  Davis is the size and speed.  McKenzie is the change of pace.  Browns injury history and lack of size works against him going forward.

 

Agree. There is no chance Brown is back unless he takes a massive salary cut.

You can always draft a speedster too.  Kadarius Toney is a name that comes to mind for speed and skill.

Would really rather see them go the FA route rather than the draft to add a burner either in place of or in addition to Brown.

Most rookie receivers are nowhere near as good as Davis has been and honestly can't recall the last burner that didn't take at least 2 years to become useful.

Seems to me that the days of WR's - burners or otherwise - taking time to become useful in the NFL are gone. I'm not sure whether that's because the NFL has adopted so many elements of the college game, but it seems like, every season, there are several very good rookie WR's - this season that includes Claypool, Jefferson, Davis (which sounds like a pretty good law firm name).

I think what everyone is trying to say is that they now run concurrently. Previously McDermott’s contract ended a year ahead. So BB’s extension would actually be one year less in order to properly align. Of course, I could be wrong.

Now confirmed by several sources, both contracts run through 2025.

I walked away from the Colts-Raiders game for a couple of minutes after the Raiders scored to move within 7.  Came back and the Colts had scored a touchdown, recovered a fumble on the first play after the kickoff, scored a field goal and then had a pick six on the next drive.  Just like that, 17 points!

3 for 3 so far (Patriots loss, Miami loss, Raiders loss)

2 left to clinch playoff spot: Bills win, Ravens loss
