I wish Grosek hadn't injured his back in the playoffs. He was a bull all that season. Having both he and Satan at limited capacity was bad. Just looked it up -- that's two of the top 3 goal scorers (Peca) that season.

I am now completely expecting something to happen. Jack asking quietly for a trade, Botterill being removed, a few trades, a President of Hockey Ops brought in...………..something. This cannot continue as is. Under the Pegula ownership, the Sabres brand among players not only in the league, but the minors and future draft picks has to have reached such a low level of dread that I don't think it will recover from it in the next 4 to 5 years to be honest, maybe longer. It is that bad.
