Well. at least the Canadiens are letting us hang around.  You never know.  We could find a flicker of passion and get a goal or two.

If they lose this game, which, by all activity in the 2nd indicates they will, they will have completely lost an overwhelming majority of the fan base that is still hanging around.

The damage done to this franchise, imho, is historic.
