Yes indeed. Carter has thrown enough points in the trash. We can't afford to hope he fixes it at this point.

I was hoping I was viewing this correctly, and hey, I'm just a fan, so I could be wrong, but honestly, I don't think so. It's just what I'm seeing is all.

Oh, the good old hockey game
Is the best game you can name
And the best game you can name
Is the good old hockey game

99 Cup Finals, Game 6, Dallas at Buffalo

Well, Brett Hull's skate was in the crease
When he "scored" that No Goal
They stole the Cup and took it down
To that Big D Texas hole

They had their fill with that parade
While Sabres fans were filled with rage
But that's ok, 'cause Dallas has
No Stanley Cups since that day

Just like the Bills this year, even getting our butts kicked by Washington would be an invaluable experience.

I understand the limitations provided by the in season trade market but I am happy Jason is still reportedly trying hard to help out his team because they haven't given up on this season and he should be right there with them, while understanding their weaknesses and what they might need

I hope so. Last I heard the focus was on moving Rodrigues and Bogosian. This team is showing that Botterill owes it to them to help them if he can. He shouldn't pass up the opportunity like previously if one presents itself.

That's all of us every post, don't worry about qualifying any statements like that

That's worth repeating.

?

And to think, I had enough Margarita's to type actually type it out in the same post ?

Sometimes, you just smile because the Sabres made your night and life is good, even if you are trying to talk serious hockey while drunk ?

Which of course means a 50/50 split if we’re lucky ?

Yeah in this sport it's particularly "any given night" but we are something like 18-9-1 against teams below us in the standings the last 2 seasons, so I am hopeful.

As we continue to climb in the standings that stat becomes very meaningful.

No pretty much all the stats guys

I haven't watched as much as I like but he seems to have d zone chops that made me question what could have gone so badly in New York

and I'm not super interested in a winger's xGA and stuff through a few dozen games

Sadly... it would appear most of those wins were during an early winning streak last year and then a hot start this year. The second half of this season, we need to beat both the bad teams and also the good teams that we still need to leapfrog.

Making the playoffs will be tough but even if they keep it as a realistic possibility into the end of March/beginning of April, that'd be a welcome change of pace.

Lazar is so cool. Laughs when people punch him. What a great addition. Goes to show, sports is a weird unpredictable science

He's quickly moving up on my favorites list

With Lazar playing well (don't look now, but 4 points in the last 3 games, and an inch away from another goal tonight) and Frolik on the PK...  Asplund could go back down to help ROC when Skinner and Olofsson return. Barring additional injuries. I am an Asplund fan, but he could use more seasoning and Lazar/Frolik play his role.

Was there a "let's go Buffalo" chant going w/ ~8 minutes left?

I won't be worth a ***** tomorrow at work, but it is more than worth it watching this team, this night.

If this keeps up, I'll be buying tickets again come mid to late Feb.

In the mean time, stay golden pony boys, stay golden...……….

Night all.

GO SABRES!!!!
