Did anyone else think that penalty shot call was ticky tacky?  I'll take it anyway.  Nice to be on the positive side of those.

Weak call. Don't care.

Of course, if McDavid backchecks on the play, he's probably able to break it up and take it out of the ref's hands.

That’s a really big plus of Lazar, he took the face off and we never lost the puck. Lazar is a valuable player

Yes...he's really starting to grow on me!  I'd like to see him stay up for the rest of this season and maybe beyond!

Nod to Ralph for that strategy paying off.

Of course I probably railed on Phil when he did this with Sobotka last year, so nevermind, ur so dumb Ralph!

Honestly, I think Jack can dominate more than McDavid.  McD might be better at using his teammates, but as a one man show I'll take Jack, thankyouverymuch.

I'm surprised the majority think it was a weak call. The contact was short lived but it was stick contact to the hands at exactly the point where Jack was gonna make a move. It was a very smart play by the Oilers player to do it that quickly and an even better call.

Officiating has been bad this year, should point out when it's good.

OMG when they were talking about the delay of game off Risto's stick, James Neal voluntarily told the officials it went of his stick.  Wow.

Well played, James

I think Jack has a better shot than McDavid!

Correct.  Useful player.  Good tactical coaching by RK as well.
